Physical + Mental = Intense
When it comes to basketball, you can find plenty of team, competition, technique, shooting and day camps.
J Rob is the ONLY intensive camp.
J Robinson Intensive Camps offer:

What’s the difference? Every other type of basketball camp exposes you only to the technical aspects of the game. Intensive camps fuse body and mind together—attacking both the physical and mental games.
Trust me, intensity is the one thing all great players have. And they’re not born with it.
Our philosophy focuses on total player development. For the duration of camp you’ll work on every area you need to become the all-conference, all-state or state champion player you want to be. I promise you this: If you do what’s required at camp, the experience will change your life. You know you can succeed if you focus and work hard, but there’s a limit to how hard a coach can push during the regular season. In the summer, we don’t have those constraints. What you need to break through the barriers is an experience that gives you three important things:
- Focus. J Rob Intensive Basketball Camps eliminate all distractions for 10 days. No family. No school. No social outings. This extreme immersion changes how you view your limitations. You surrender yourself to a highly concentrated and very structured environment that requires you each and every day to consistently do more. You’re stretched to your limits daily. And as a result, you realize that you’re capable of so much more than you ever thought possible.
- Mental Strength. A lot of coaches and athletes think that attending a J Rob camp is only about getting in great shape and gaining technical knowledge and skills. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I constantly hear people remark, “You go to camp and get in great shape, but you can’t use it for 5 months.” Camp isn’t just about physical training; it’s about extending your boundaries mentally, and you can’t do it just by talking about it. You must put yourself on the court when you’re tired and sore, then push yourself to a new level. This is the real key to success.
- Lasting Impact. The more intense an experience, the more you learn and the longer you retain it. When a basketball player leaves my camp, he or she brings something home that allows him to be not just a better basketball player, but a better leader, student, son, daughter and citizen. J Rob camps instill new skills in multiple areas of life. Camp is about developing basketball and life skills, and that requires time, attitude, effort and—above all—intensity.
